The problem for the last couple of seasons is our defence.
This game was easy in the end for Arsenal because they knew we are shaky at the back.

That sounded like a good game and we performed ok?
At the end of the day, we were in the last eight with seven top Premier League clubs.
This result will not harm us in any way apart from any injuries which might have an effect.

True and we all knew that we would face an uphill task down at Arsenal. To be fair to the lads, they did their best and that's all we can ask for.Sunderland Nut wrote: ↑22 Dec 2021, 03:43 That sounded like a good game and we performed ok?

Great goal and despite the scoreline, a canny game and a good night out in London for some fans

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the Arsenal vs. Sunderland game! It's definitely frustrating when your team's defence is shaky, especially against a strong opponent like Arsenal.
One thing that's often overlooked regarding team performance is the impact of salaries and arsenal wages. With Arsenal's financial power and ability to attract top talent, it's no surprise they have a strong squad that can exploit weaknesses in their opponents.
Yet, it's important to remember that football is a team sport, and many factors contribute to a team's success or failure. Hopefully, Sunderland can work on their defence and come back stronger in future matches.
