'Propellers of the city' sculpture damaged

Post by Steve30000 »

https://sunderlandglobalmedia.org/anger ... y-vandals/

Sunderland residents have expressed anger and disbelief after the “Propellers of the City” sculpture, located in Keel Square, was smashed yesterday by vandals in a grotesque act of disrespect towards the area’s Maritime heritage.

Someone has clearly taken a run up to that and launched their feet into it.

I hope they take a look at CCTV in that area because those responsible need to be taught a lesson.

We were all young and daft at one time but we had some respect for things.

If this was vandalism then he or she needs sorting out!

It's a shame but wasn't it a complex thing?
I only saw it once close up.

It was a complex piece of "art" to be fair.
