Gary Bennett has been recognised for his prominent anti-racism stance in the game.
The 60-year-old former Sunderland defender was on the Queen’s New Year’s Honours list but he thought it was a wind-up when he got his letter at the end of last year.

The Black Lives Matter group is against all that and he is all for that group that is absolutely full of HATRED.
I've heard him being so defensive on the radio.
One bloke rang in and spoke about brown people and you should have heard what come out of Bennett's mouth.
From that call, I was never taken in again from him and never will.
He should give the medal back or start being on the side of equality instead and not treat people like dirt if they can't speak his BLM language the way he wants.

Gary Bennett does get angry and you can hear it in his voice but I always think that these things should be left to the politicians to sort out.
Coming out on the side of the BLM movement is wrong because they are a wicked and evil organisation (do your own research into the group and don't just side with the name automatically).
Benno should not go so low as to upset anyone with his views and concentrate only on football because I don't want a party political broadcast when I listen to a football match, especially when that political group is vile and should be BANNED!
