Thanks, and you'll know how much hurt we have had in the playoffs before.Geezer wrote: ↑07 May 2022, 12:09 Good luck in play offs. geezergardner@gmail.com, charlton supporter.

Re: Promotion
There are some fine teams in this league with a great history while in the two higher leagues there are some clubs that simply don't belong there.
I am not too confident this season, considering our awful performance in previous crunch matches, particularly at Wembley.
Other people are confident and point to the fact that the other three clubs involved in this last fight are not as good as Sunderland.
I guess it will all be revealed soon enough.
Fingers crossed and thanks @Geezer.

Re: Promotion
I think on our day we are better than all teams in League One but it has been hit and miss on occasions. Granted, lately, we are the form team and two or three games more and we might have had an automatic promotion. It can go one of two ways now. Our consistency and momentum push us to where we want to be or we run out of steam, and we know what that means. I fear the latter but my heart is in conflict with my head

Haway, let's go higher than a 0-0 draw, a 1-1 or 2-2 would make it more exciting.
Sheffield Wednesday is strong at home but when they came here both times you can see they are not that good.
I reckon Alex Neil would have had a field day sussing out their team.
