Liz Truss v Rishi Sunak?
Liz Truss v Rishi Sunak?
If you are an ordinary member of the Tory party you will soon be able to vote for one of these candidates to be the next prime minister.
Who would you vote for if you were a Conservative member?
I'm backing Liz Truss because Sunak has made loads of gaffs.
He is not in touch with the common people and has stated he has no working-class friends.
Sunak also held a green card and it looked like he wanted to be an American citizen.
He has done other things I will not go into
It looks like he has no allegiance to the UK and his wife wasn't paying taxes to this country but she was to India and he was responsible for telling us to pay tax!
Wasn't he not even paying tax?
Liz Truss is not ideal but I think she is more in touch with the people.

Whoever gets the position as Prime Minister, then 99.99% of the population can say they didn't vote for that person.
What was that you said again?

Very true, and in my opinion, they should have a General Election once a Prime Minister leaves for whatever reason.thingamajig wrote: ↑01 Aug 2022, 12:08 Whoever gets the position as Prime Minister, then 99.99% of the population can say they didn't vote for that person.
In many ways, the Prime Minister is who most people see when they think of a political party.
Boris Johnson was alright in how he handled Brexit, COVID and even the Ukrainian war but he just looks like an idiot.
It is a shame he characterised himself like that if it is an act at all

Not really because there has to be a leader. It's such a shame that the Tories can't put a suitable candidate forward. Bot also what about the people, they may not approve of who the members choose. I'd rather have the woman than Sunack who should never get the job.
