We were still signing players even when Johnson was sacked. I think the players we've signed, any championship manager would love to be here

Alex Neil will have left for at least two reasons:
Number one - yes wages for himself.
Number two - what is available in the war chest.
The fact that he took off for an inferior club such as Stoke shows that there is something wrong.
Refer to the two reasons above.
Getting away from greed, the fact that he wanted four or five more players that didn't materialise, what should we think?
This club might have an owner with a wealthy mother, but it's no good if all we have is a boy with a little bit of pocket money.
As for buying players, well, we have very little time left now otherwise it will be loanees and freebies, but wait, this is Sunderland!
