Mild temperatures in November is not normal
Looks like we're past the climate point of no return imo. This will lead to stronger winds and more rain
Great.

Apparently, we just need a mild winter to see us through the Ukrainian war with Russia.
If we get a cold winter then we could see power cuts.

It'll be more than our energy bills we'll need to worry about if it's a mild winter...

Are you talking about a global calamity?Steve30000 wrote: ↑11 Nov 2022, 14:25It'll be more than our energy bills we'll need to worry about if it's a mild winter...
I don't think we are at the tipping point yet but still have a few decades left.

Re: Mild temperatures in November is not normal
Already past it imo. Trying to aim for 1.5° rise is stupid, we should be reducing our emissions within a year, not waiting until 2030. It'll be too late by then, then we'll get warmer NovembersCrawford wrote: ↑12 Nov 2022, 16:18Are you talking about a global calamity?Steve30000 wrote: ↑11 Nov 2022, 14:25

The world's gone crazy man.
Anyone who thinks we can sustain population rises like we are seeing and be carbon neutral is kidding themselves.

Oh well, keep the population growing and we end up hurting ourselves. The planet will shake us off if we don't do anything, believe me.Sunderland Nut wrote: ↑12 Nov 2022, 17:52 The world's gone crazy man.
