Wonky Veg

Post by Trish »

Anyone here tried the wonky veg available in Aldi?
Tesco is selling them now I think.
Personally I think it's a good idea and I use them often.

Same nutrition, less cost, better value.

As long as it's edible and safe, why does the shape matter?

Vegetables, like other things that grow in the wild, should be random and individual.
It's the supermarkets that ensured uniformity but that comes at a price.
If wonky vegetables are nice to eat, then why not, it's a natural way to eat them.
