Hilton Hotel Job Creation

The area is indeed ripe for development. Also, there are decent transport links too. The four storey building will create around 150 jobs for the area.

With the Stadium of Light and Aquatic Centre so close, the transformation of area is coming on well. In fact, the area is totally unrecognisable since the old Wearmouth colliery closed in 1993.

Maybe those connected with SAFC can also make good use of these facilities too. Perhaps more of them should live in the hotel instead of some living in Newcastle – of all places!

** Premier Inns are also starting work building a new hotel in St. Michaels Way in Sunderland City Centre. Indeed, this will be in November this year.

Lets hope that these badly needed accommodation blocks stimulate the economy of the area. Indeed, the Hilton Hotel development should come in handy for many people in connection with Sunderland AFC.
