Sunderland Council Election Results in 2024: Conclusion

The turnout for these local council elections was poor. We saw the Labour Party gain ground at the expense of the Conservative Party. Meanwhile, the Lib-Dems are quietly progressing and chipping away in parts of the city. The results were not unexpected, and the Tories took it on the chin.
