Re: Dick Advocaat turns down the Sunderland job

To be honest would anyone at that age want such a high pressure job? Anyone who ever thought the job of managing Sunderland was going to be easy is in for a shock. Those that come here with dark hair leave very soon with grey hair  Seriously, it is historically a difficult task to manage SAFC. ...

Re: Sunderland 0-0 Leicester City 16-05-2015 - RESULT

A nil nil draw was on the cards with this game but I thought we could have nicked it by an odd goal. I don't think Hull will win so we are safe. On Sunday we will all be gathered around Sky Sports News or huddled around the radio. Its going to be an interesting 90 minutes.

Old Shops or Stores in Sunderland

Old Shops or Stores in Sunderland - Wearside area Shops and such come and go and this had me thinking if anyone has fond memories of shops or stores that are now gone. Even just mentioning them might remind others. Napoleon once described the Britain as a nation of shopkeepers and most oldies can r...

The lads to win 1-0 and score it in the 89th minute.

Re: Should Scotland leave the Union and be independent - POLL

I think I would agree with the post above which is saying we shouldn't be looking to forcibly allow people to be in a different country. This is absolute madness.

I agree that we need our best player but opposing teams will have his life.
