Transfer/Signings Thread
Now that the transfer window is open, let's see who comes and goes etc.
We now know Lynden Gooch has signed until 2022.
Maja has been given a new contract and has a week to decide.
Max Power has signed now to make it permanent for him.
Jack Ross has said today that a defender is close to signing but we don't know who he is yet.
So any more?

Jermain Defoe has been given permission to leave Bournemouth so what are the prospects of him coming here?

Not a lot I expect, its going to be a money thing.thingamajig wrote: ↑02 Jan 2019, 18:06 Jermain Defoe has been given permission to leave Bournemouth so what are the prospects of him coming here?
Besides, he wouldn't want league one football.
Its ok being sentimental about the player but these are different times.
To be realistic, we don't want an ageing player now.
For me its a big no no.

I agree with this but there could also be a place for him when he retires so a short term contract would be fine for me.

Re: Transfer/Signings Thread
Sunderland are showing interest in Sheffield United defender Ben Heneghan, Sky Sports News understands.
6ft 3 Centre Back who is currently on loan at Blackpool but only made 2 appearances for them.
The height is definitely what we need in our team especially when it comes to defending set pieces.
I honestly don't know enough about why he has featured so little or if he is any good tbh but fingers crossed.
Edit: Blackburn are also reported to be interested.

An error by the SkySports reporter apparently. He has played over 20 games for Blackpool this season.

^ This, if we can strengthen the defence just a little, then nothing can stop us going up.MonsterSAFC73 wrote: ↑03 Jan 2019, 17:25 The height is definitely what we need in our team especially when it comes to defending set pieces.
