We all know that Sunderland are battling along on three wheels.
We can only pray for a few scrappy points in December and hope that January brings in a few fresh faces.
Poor result for the lads.
Great support being let down by some bad signings in the past.
We live in hope.

Watford are high flying. Yes it may be artificial for a small club but we played them at the wrong time. Good luck to them but its back to basics for Sunderland ..... and Chelsea away on Saturday.
Haway Big Sam, man!

Aye but Sunderland should not be letting teams like Watford come to the Stadium of Light and win us.
Watford don't even belong to the Premier League.
Yes they have respect now but they will disappear soon but not before the damage has been done to other teams ..... like Sunderland.

I might have the day off today!

Sunderland will yo-yo for a while until Big Sam Allardyce gets to know the strengths and weaknesses of the Sunderland squad.

Keep the faith because Mickey Mouse clubs like Watford always cause an upset in their first season in the Premier League.

Sunderland will get into gear but it might be around mid January first.

The Watford result was a kick in the teeth but I am still hopeful that after a difficult December Sunderland can start to get their act together.

You would think Sunderland supporters would have been used to defeats such as the Watford one at home after the pile of crap we have been served up for years. You don't get used to it because it still hurts.

Watford do have some good players but they will slacken off. They are not a Premiership force and never will be unlike Sunderland, the sleeping giant. That's why getting beat of these small clubs is pretty bad.

Respect to Watford though for having a good go.
