Sunderland 2-1 Birmingham (April 2023)

Post by Nockya »

Sunderland went 1-0 down in the first half but the lads came back to win this game.
We equalised just before half-time.

In the second half, Tony Mowbray made a double change with about 60 minutes on the clock with O’Nien and Gelhardt coming on for Gooch and Michut which made all the difference.
Amad Diallo scored the winner after 75 minutes.

We will miss him but Tony Mowbray knows we are playing a lowly football club.

Decent result. We are so near yet so far and we have no idea yet what the table will look like when the season ends.

I might have the day off today!

I hope we have a last minute flurry and scrape over the line. They haven't done too bad this season.

Who knows but we should be grateful. It's a season where we might say if only...............
