Ipswich Town 2-1 Sunderland.
The lads travelled to Portman Road to play high-flying Ipswich.
The home team have suffered a dip in form recently, but we got the tail end of their bad run to suffer a 2-1 defeat.
SAFC did go in the lead but it was not to be.
Michael Beale said afterwards that "we have ourselves to blame" - yes we do, don't we Head Coach!
The team we put out yesterday:
Sunderland AFC: Patterson, Hume, O'Nien, Ballard, Alese, Ba, Ekwah, Neil, Clarke, Pritchard, Bellingham
SAFC Substitutes: Bishop, Hemir, Burstow, Rusyn, Bennette, Aouchiche, Seelt, Triantis, Matete

Re: Ipswich Town 2-1 Sunderland
A draw would have helped our cause but we were beaten by a better side.
Once they equalised, we would have been happy to hang out for a point.
Haway the lads!
